    Nader Kazemi and Hazrat Maryam Students Visit Ricest over one hundred students from two schools , Nader Kazemi and Hazrat Maryam, visited RICeST on Jan. 28th, 2018 in two groups. During the 180 minute visit, the students got acquainted with Ricest, its objectives and scientific information databases. They were further trained on how to surf RICeST’s databases as well as those on the web. This skill is thought to have a significant role in instigating students to surf the web and accordingly commence undertaking scientific research. One of the most important databases of Ricest, as reported by the students was “Persian E-articles database” which is the largest database of Persian full-text articles over the globe.

    Oman Sohar University Visit RICeST and ISC A three-member delegation from Oman Sohar University, consisted of professor Hamza Edris, Pro-Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Dr. Dawood Al-Hamdani, Dean of Postgraduate Centre, and, Dr. Mohammad al-Magqbali, Pro-Vice Chancellor for community and engagement visited ISC and RICeST. This visit was conducted in line with RICeST policy on scientific and research support from newly established and developing universities and in interaction with Shiraz University of Technology on Wednesday, 25/1/2018.

Such visits are arranged in line with Ricest’s objective to publicize research endeavors among the youth and the schoolers. The program also supports the motto of the Ministry of Education for turning schools into Research-oriented institutions.
