Sedighe Kobra's Students Visit Ricest
Fifty students from the high school, Sedighe Kobra, visited RICeST on Jan. 23th, 2018. During the 90 minute visit, the students got acquainted with Ricest, its objectives and scientific information databases. They were further trained on how to surf RICeST’s databases as well as those on the web. This skill is thought to have a significant role in instigating students to surf the web and accordingly commence undertaking scientific research. One of the most important databases of Ricest, as reported by the students was “Persian E-articles database” which is the largest database of Persian full-text articles over the globe.
Such visits are arranged in line with Ricest’s objective to publicize research endeavors among the youth and the schoolers. The program also supports the motto of the Ministry of Education for turning schools into Research-oriented institutions.
