Growth in the publication of Iranian Researchers
The Essential Science Indicators database reveals emerging science trends as well as influential individuals, institutions, papers, journals, and countries in your field of research. It is one of the sub-clusters of ISI, provides very important, authoritative and detailed information about the top countries, subject areas, scientists, magazines and organizations based on the number of articles and citations over the last 10 years (2013-2017).
This information is in the 22 subject areas and some of the scientometric indicators used, including hot articles, cited articles and top papers. The latest survey shows that all the major articles published by Iranian scientists were 1,623, of which 1208 cases were in the last five years (2013-2017). Thus, 75 percent of the country's top researchers have been in the past five years.
The total number of articles published by Iranian researchers between 2013 and 2017 was 1133, while they have received 5,303 citations. In this way, the ratio of a citation to each superior article is to 83/46.

The publication of superior articles by Iranian scholars from 2013 to 2016 has always been on the rise. With 136 articles in 2013 and 163 in 2014. Respectively, 216 and 338 articles were published by Iranian researchers in 2015 and 2016. The number of top articles in the year 2017 has been 355 articles, but it should be noted that the relevant information has not yet been completed. Noticeably, the number was 96 in October 2017, while it raised to 355 in January 2018.
